Jazzy, contemporary, musically versatile; playful, inspirational, heartfelt, revealing in depth and rich in sincerity. Soul Roads has it all. From beginning to end, the compilation is truly engaging. From the catchy and fun tune, "Berry Nice Day" to my personal favorites, "A Measure of Life" and "This Journey", Soul Roads takes the listener on a journey of love, reflection and revelation of the gift of life. The lyrics are worth reading carefully to be sure to catch every nuance of the Poet expressed. A beautiful journey....

Thoughtful, well written and performed songs

I am impressed with the Soul Roads CD for its depth. Each time I listen to it I enjoy something different. The first track is an instrumental that sets the tone for the rest of the CD with its changes of tempo and variety of instruments. The CD has a variety of musical styles with male and female vocals. The folk style songs like "Going Inside" and "Portfolio" are my favorites. If you enjoy thoughtful, well written and performed songs this is a CD you will enjoy.

My wife and I bought this CD on a whim because it sounded like something different. It turned out to be a really neat compilation of songs about life. If you are looking for something to listen to when you are relaxing, this is it.

I ordered this CD on the advice of some friends and I'm very glad I did. The CD is some very nice easy listening music. Having recently lost someone special, the song "This Journey" brings me to tears every time. I love to just have the CD on while moving about the house. This CD is so amazing that it's almost hard to describe. I don't think I have ever listened to anything quite like it. You know how when you hear a song you really like, you want to just keep playing it over and over again? Well, there are about 6 songs on this CD that are like that for me. I just play them over and over again so I can memorize the words and sing along cause the music is so beautiful. I would highly recommend it as a great gift because there is something on it for everybody. Baptisms, births, marriage, childhood... very cool.

Fascinating concept; songs from birth to death speaking to each phase in life. Fun mix of music types with thought provoking lyrics and messaging. Each person will have favorites that resonate with them, changing over time, as we each move through our own stages of life. Wonderful harmonies on the pieces with duets especially “This Journey”. I wonder which one I’ll like best tomorrow?
